Our trans-Pacific cruise made a one-day stop in Okinawa. Well, technically, Okinawa is really the Ryukyu chain of islands from the southern main part of Japan stretching toward Taiwan. Although it’s a prefecture of Japan, it has history of independent trading with both China and Japan. Okinawa suffered terribly in World War II. Believe it or not, Deena and I had lunch with a fellow who said the cruise was his second trip to Okinawa. His first was for WWII!
We stopped in the port of Naha and wandered aimlessly around town.
We love this stuff. Keep it coming and stay safe in your journey. Love Jill & Ron
I heard rumors of child labor in Asian countries, but this is ridiculous!! :-p
ROTFLMAO! I didn’t even notice that the caps DO look like hard hats!
